Fall Color Drive & NUICS Cars & Coffee

For those who don’t live near Midland, the event begins with a drive to Midland on Friday, October 4th, and an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Midland, 810 Cinema Drive. The discounted room rate is $130 per night plus taxes. The room block is good until September 13th, 2024, so do not delay making your reservation. To make your reservation call 989-794-8500 and mention Jaguar Club. We will meet for dinner that evening at a restaurant near the hotel.

On Saturday, October 5th, we will meet at the hotel and start a scenic two-lane backroad journey through the countryside and small towns around Midland. The drive will include a lunch stop; this year’s drive route and lunch location are still being determined. The drive will return us to the Holiday Inn, and after some relaxation time at the hotel, we’ll have dinner at the nearby Villa D’Alessandro Restaurant, which has served us very well the past two years.

On Sunday morning, we’ll meet for the short drive to Northwood for the NUIAS show. We’ll display our cars at the popular NUIAS Classic Car Show on the Northwood campus, adjacent to the NUIAS. From there, we can walk through the main NUIAS show, which is put on by the students at Northwood and features a great selection of mainstream and exotic cars from worldwide manufacturers. The setting on campus is peaceful and attractive. With some luck, the hardwoods on campus might be in full color for the show.
